That said, an independent 2021 security review of the extension found that it sends more browsing data to Keepa's servers than its privacy policy explicitly disclosed at the time — including product IDs, search terms, and sales-rank data from the Amazon pages you visit — and that it assigns a persistent identifier which can survive clearing browser data or reinstalling the extension.
